Sweetest dog alert!!!
Burger is a heart melter. He gives the gentlest kisses, loves snuggles, and exudes gratitude. This poor guy arrived at Dallas Animal Services emaciated, with a broken pelvis and femur. He had been hit by a car as a stray. The shelter begged for this guy to get a rescue backing and we immediately saw why: he is pure sunshine. In his month with us, Burger has gained weight, confidence, sheen to his coat, and has been healing his pelvic fracture. His next step: a modified femoral head ostectomy (FHO) to repair the damage to his femur. He will need six weeks of crate rest, but this boy is too perfect to not share with the world. Burger is approximately 60lbs and is 1 year old. He's heartworm negative, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He will be neutered at the time of his FHO surgery. Burger is crate trained, good on a leash, loves car rides, and doesn't mind sharing his food. He is nondestructive in the house and is potty trained. Burger is also friendly with everyone and everything, including dogs, cats, pigs, and parrots. He has the gentlest soul.
