Bocephus

Hi! My name is Bocephus and I am a 2-year-old Boxer mix! I was saved from the Weatherford shelter and used to be so skinny, but I now have sleek fur and a slightly chunky physique. I am just a big goofy guy! I’m convinced that my whole purpose is to make people laugh! I love playing with ANY and all toys (no, seriously!) but really enjoy heavy duty ones such as KONG toys, because I love to chew on them. My fosters say that’s okay though, because I don’t chew up anything but my toys! I’m completely potty trained and I am very good about letting you know when I need to go using a bell by the door. Walking on a leash is a breeze for me, and im completely crate trained! In fact, I love my crate and prefer to be in there when my foster mom isn’t home, because I get anxious for mom to come home-- she's a nurse and sometimes she has loooong shifts. But long shifts mean extra time with me on her days off, so it works out. I also love meeting and playing with other dogs. My foster mom says I would do best in a family home with older kids (10+)-- I'm probably a bit too goofy and unaware of my size for toddlers. I am EXTREMELY smart, and eager to learn (with treats of course!). I am ready to find my furever family!
