Kingston

Meet Kingston and his ears! This 2.5-year-old boy is a most gorgeous fawn brindle, with a white chest, and weighs in at about 65lbs. In his months with us, Kingston has grown in confidence and has made so many very best dog friends. He is a loyal, loving and smart boy who loves chews and being near his humans. He is fabulous in the car and solidly knows basic commands. Kingston is housetrained, kennel trained, and nondestructive in the home. He has become so much more comfortable with new humans and now loves his trips to the vet. Such a 180 from his past life!! We love Kingston’s curious personality, floppy ears, and expressive eyes. He was the BEST companion during our turf installation, when he simply wanted to be near us, working away at his Nylabone. Could he be the right fit for you home?

A bit on his history: Kingston came to Code Red Animal Project Inc. in October 2022. He was initially an owner surrender to BARC (Houston) and was taken in by a Houston-area rescue. The rescue then surrendered him to the Katy Animal Shelter where he was treated with patience and love until he found his way to us. Kingston received his heartworm treatment in December 2022, and is expected to test heartworm free in June 2023. He is, of course, up to date on monthly preventatives.
