Maxine

3-year-old Maxine is so full of love! She is queen of cuddles, has the cutest tap dance, and bows and plays with people and dogs alike. Maxine came to us with her 5 puppies, when the whole family was up for euthanasia at BARC (Houston). She was protective of her babies, but now that she is spayed and baby-free, she is wonderful with other dogs. In fact, her very best friend is Rhino, one of our handicapped pups. Maxine is wonderful inside and on a leash. She loves to snuggle on the couch, give gentle kisses, and gets oh so excited about food. She is crate trained, house broken and quiet. She would excel in a house and is apartment-approved. Maxine is still a little nervous about car rides, but gets more comfortable every time she has a ride. She knows basic commands and is a gentle girl. We think she would make an amazing Emotional Support Animal or Service Animal. Maxine is spayed, has completed her Heartworm treatment, and is up to date on vaccines and preventatives.
