Monarch came to our rescue as an overbred, malnourished, and terrified girl who had been scheduled to be euthanized at BARC, Houston's city shelter. Monarch was heartworm positive, full of worms, and needed so much TLC. Her phenomenal foster-to-adopt family gave her much patience, love, food, and care, and she truly blossomed. She is now heartworm negative, spayed, and living her best life in the DFT area.
