Meet Dewy! Dewy is a 1.5-year-old, 25-pound wire-haired terrier with scruffy good looks, a big personality, and a heart that is absolutely destined to win yours.

Found as a stray in Dallas, Dewy has not let his past dim his sweet little spirit. He is affectionate, curious, playful, and so happy to be part of the action. Whether he is exploring the outdoors, heading out for a walk, playing with his dog friends, or simply following his people around the house, Dewy is happiest when he gets to be included.
This little guy is a bit of a velcro dog and absolutely adores spending time with his humans. He has the kind of loving, loyal nature that makes a house feel warmer the second he walks in. At 25 pounds, he is the perfect size for adventures, couch cuddles, and everything in between.

Dewy is good with other dogs, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He has wonderful companion-dog skills and all the makings of an easy, fun, affectionate best friend.

Dewy may be small, but he packs a whole lot of personality into that scruffy little body. He is sweet, social, charming, and ready to warm the hearts and home of one very lucky adoptive family.

Dewy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet/the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Dewy's adoption fee is $250, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
