Meet Dobie! At just 8 weeks old, Dobie has already shown us that nothing can dim his little spirit.

This sweet baby was found abandoned at a Dallas laundromat, covered in fleas and ticks. It was a heartbreaking start for a puppy so young, but you would never know it from the happy, confident, joy-filled boy he is today.

Dobie is the total package. He is doing an amazing job with potty training and, when taken outside regularly, is well on his way to being house trained. At night, he sleeps soundly in his crate and only lets you know if he needs a potty break. For such a young puppy, he is already proving to be a very smart little guy.

His personality is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. One minute, Dobie is curled up in your lap soaking up every bit of love he can get. The next, he is zooming around the yard with a toy in his mouth, showing off his signature little run, which is less of a run and more of an adorable series of bunny hops.

Dobie has never met a stranger. He is happy to be in anyone’s arms, loves attention, and carries himself with the confidence of a much bigger dog. He thinks he is one of the big kids and has so much fun romping around with canine friends of all sizes. His fearless, joyful personality makes him an instant favorite everywhere he goes.

After such a rough start, Dobie is more than ready for the loving forever family he deserves. He is sweet, silly, cuddly, playful, and full of all the magic that makes puppyhood so special.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet/the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Dobie's adoption fee is $300, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
