Duckie (Adoption pending)

Meet Duckie! This 7-week-old Chihuahua–Whippet mix is as adorable as her name suggests — plump, playful, and full of personality! Duckie came to us with her mom, Rose, after being rescued from a hoarding situation. While her mom is a slender, elegant beauty, Duckie is her perfect opposite — a round little bundle of energy with the cutest markings and a heart as big as Texas.

Duckie is a social butterfly who loves everyone — dogs, cats, and animals of all sizes. She’s spunky, curious, and always ready for playtime, whether she’s tossing toys around or exploring her surroundings with her signature wiggle. When she’s done showing off her zoomies, she’s a total cuddle bug who melts into your arms for snuggles. And don’t be surprised if she chats with you — Duckie’s quite the talker!

She’s already making great progress with pee pad training, enjoys her crate, and has received two rounds of puppy vaccines. Her spay and third round of shots will be included in her adoption.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet / the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Duckie's adoption fee is $450, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
