Fuji

Fuji is a 2-year-old blue-nose pittie who fully embraces the house hippo lifestyle. Compact, cuddly, and delightfully goofy, Fuji came to our rescue after being surrendered to a local shelter. We’re so glad he found his way to us.

Fuji is house-trained and crate-trained, and while he can be a tiny bit headstrong on leash, he’s absolutely manageable and improves with consistency. He has a fun-loving, go-with-the-flow attitude and approaches life with curiosity and joy. Affection is his love language. When invited, Fuji will happily jump up for hugs and is famous for giving the very best kisses.

He enjoys car rides, leisurely walks, and playtime with his favorite balls, but he doesn’t have high energy needs. Fuji is playful without being overwhelming and is perfectly content to balance activity with plenty of couch time. He likes most other dogs, with the exception of particularly macho males, and would thrive with thoughtful introductions.

Light-hearted, affectionate, and endlessly charming, Fuji would make a wonderful family dog and loyal companion.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet / the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Fuji's adoption fee is $250, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
