Meet Honey, a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois mix with a brilliant mind, a loyal heart, and so much love to give.

Honey’s story is one of transformation. She was originally adopted from Dallas Animal Services, a high-capacity municipal shelter, where she was understandably scared and unsure of the world around her. But in a home filled with consistency, patience, and love, Honey blossomed into an incredibly well-rounded, confident, and happy dog.

Today, Honey is everything you could hope for in a companion. She loves all people—especially children—and does wonderfully with other dogs. She rides great in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. Honey knows her basic commands and genuinely enjoys training, making her a perfect match for someone who appreciates a smart, engaged dog.

True to her breed mix, Honey is incredibly intelligent, eager to learn, and deeply loyal. She forms strong bonds with her people and will be your most devoted sidekick, always ready to be by your side, whether you’re out on an adventure or relaxing at home.

Honey is fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. She is ready to find a forever home that will continue to nurture her, love her, and appreciate just how special she is.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet / the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Honey's adoption fee is $250, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
