Levi

Levi is a sweet, affectionate 3-year-old boy who is ready to find the people who will love him for exactly who he is. At around 60 lbs, the scale makes him sound like a big guy, but he’s actually a short, compact little tank with a whole lot of love packed into that sturdy body!

Levi has already mastered a lot of the things that make living with a dog easy. He’s potty trained, crate trained, knows his basic commands, and is great on a leash. He’s also earned the ultimate good-boy privilege: Levi can be left home alone for several hours outside of his crate without being destructive.

And if you’re looking for a road-trip buddy, Levi would like to submit his application immediately. This boy LOVES car rides and is always happy to hop in and see where the day takes him.

Levi is dog friendly and kid friendly and has done wonderfully when given proper introductions. He’s not necessarily a “throw me into the middle of the party and I’ll figure it out” kind of guy, though. New people, dogs, and busy environments can feel overwhelming at first, so Levi does best with slow, intentional introductions and a little time to get his bearings. Give him that time, and you get to see the affectionate, loving boy underneath.

He’s looking for a family who understands that there’s no prize for rushing a dog. A little patience, structure, and advocacy go a long way with Levi—and once he knows he’s safe, his sweet personality shines.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet/the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Levi's adoption fee is $250, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
