Meet Lily When we first met Lily at the shelter, she sat quietly in her kennel — calm, polite, and patiently waiting for someone to notice her. She had been there for over two months, her time nearly up, labeled as “unfriendly with other dogs.” But the moment we met her, we knew she was special.

Now safe with us, Lily has blossomed into one of the gentlest, most loving souls you could ever meet. This beautiful 8-year-old girl is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She is extremely human-friendly and has been warming up wonderfully to her dog friends with time and trust. She greets them with a tail wag and a sweet hello sniff.

Lily is fully house trained, calm, and simply happy. She enjoys her walks, loves to frolic in the backyard, and is always grateful just to be near her people.

Senior dogs like Lily are truly treasures — endlessly loyal, quietly joyful, and full of love to give. She would make a perfect companion for a peaceful home looking for a devoted, gentle friend.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet / the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Lily's adoption fee is $250, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
