Meet Oscar! This 6-month-old deaf Shepherd mix is the definition of a gentle soul. With his calm, affectionate nature and soft, trusting eyes, Oscar melts hearts everywhere he goes. He’s one of those rare dogs who radiates peace — until it’s time to play! Then his fun-loving, tomboy side bursts out as he joyfully roughhouses with his canine pals.

Oscar is a friend to everyone — dogs, cats, parrots, pigs, and probably even chickens! His kind spirit and easygoing nature make him a wonderful companion for just about any home or lifestyle. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and an absolute angel on a leash, walking calmly by your side wherever you go.

In public, Oscar is a star — relaxed and well-mannered on busy sidewalks, patios, and even at farmers markets. He loves chews and toys, happily entertaining himself or sharing playtime with his friends.

Oscar is also incredibly intelligent and attentive, making him an excellent candidate for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) or even a service dog. He naturally tunes in to his humans and loves to please — it’s simply who he is.
He’s neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and fully ready to find his forever home.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet / the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Oscar's adoption fee is $300, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
