Meet Roscoe, the tongueless pittie known for his "ghost kisses"!

Roscoe’s story is one of heartbreak and resilience. This sweet boy was found abandoned in a rural parking lot, starving, dehydrated, and fighting for his life. He had endured the unimaginable—his tongue was severed. With patience, syringe-fed water, and homemade meatballs, Roscoe was slowly nursed back to health.

Today, Roscoe is thriving in spirit. Despite everything, he’s the gentlest soul, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and soft eyes full of gratitude. He loves other dogs and has proven himself to be incredibly social and sweet. His ability to trust and love after so much loss is nothing short of inspiring.

5-year-old Roscoe is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms. He is available for foster-to-adopt through the rest of his medical journey, and in return, he will give endless loyalty and affection. This survivor is proof that love heals.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet / the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Roscoe's adoption fee is $250, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
