Rose (Adoption pending)

At 3 years old, Rose is a lovely Chihuahua–Whippet mix with the most graceful, slender build, and soft, soulful eyes that seem to tell her story. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Rose has shown incredible resilience and quiet strength. Though shy at first, she quickly blossoms into an affectionate, loyal little girl who loves to snuggle close and soak up your love.
Rose has been an amazing mom to her puppy, Duckie, nurturing her baby with patience and tenderness. That same gentle spirit shines through in everything she does: she’s tolerant, kind, and watchful. Despite her past, Rose often chooses trust over fear, and responds really well to treats, pets, and snuggles.. Once she knows you’re safe, her sweet nature and loving personality come pouring out.

This doe-eyed beauty is house trained, learning to enjoy leash walks, and does beautifully in a calm home environment. She’s the perfect blend of dainty and devoted — floppy ears, delicate paws, and a heart as big as they come.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet / the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Rose's adoption fee is $400, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
